band of brothers

okay. it been years since i last update. sorry people. very busy indeed. haha. i just came back from the anual-oh-so-slack camp. haha. it was pretty stupid. really. well, woke up very early to return the pacestick without chan knowing.

after that, we allocate the part a n b into the various platoon. alpha bravo charlie and i'm in charge of charlie. haha! didnt really do much cause i was pretty bussy with the ssc preparation. brush up our command with them as our dummy and then we leave them to the very responsible PTI for the pt. haha. while other specs sneak some prata and soyabean milk for our breakfast. haha. talking about the benefits of being specialist. but no big deal really

well, the PTI preapare a 5 course pt meal. haha. i supposed most of them were very very tired and exhausted after that. lunch came from the catterer. not so bad eh.

after that they have their IFC which is rather slack. but i guess they do have FUN . while we played with the trolly. haha. tour around the school. veryy funny. you know what, psle is over and manny kanchiong parrents and their child came to our sch to ask about what we have and stuff. haha. we actually answer too their silly qns and telling them how lucky we are to be in BOWEN. haha. right. but their qns are really stupid. like do your sch have ah bengs? hahaha. some old auties a rather hot la considering they are moms. hahaha.

after that, we form the OOC platton telling them they will be kick out of ncc and stuff. which is a lie. the part a get very very nervous. some almost cried . aahha. after much scolding and mental tortured, we send them back to get their cooking stuffs. cos we having field cooking. while the cadet ate disgusting maggie mee, the cold baked beans, the disgusting curry, we ate the buffet with the badminton ppl. haha.

after that, had pictures presentation and all the skit acting. charlie did some boxing skit. haha.
yess. bathing was rather fun? hahahaha. not so much of details eh. anndd after that the specs play basketball at like 11.45 pm? hahaha. crazyy ppl. however some left after a nighbour shouted " OIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" . YES. we also went to the dnt block with the badminton girls. haha. dey say it was haunted but we saw NOTHING. butt manyy was like shiverring already. reall dark. you know that stairs. the funny thing is the girls toiler door are open. hahah. after all that deciding of the pb, we all manage to get some sleep. very cold i tell you. i slleep at the bench outside but decided to sleep on the techers table after finding it so cold.

morning maddness. chan found out he left the kaya n butter somwhere but luckily we have baked beans and bread and the cereal drink. haha. headed to SDBA for the dragon boat. haha. not so fun ehh. alright. headed back to sch have some ceromny and had buffet lunch.

yes. thats about all. nothing much. okay. ssc comiNG. here we come.

ingriedient, chemistry which just makes you 'click'

From stranger, to acquaintenance, to friends. but somehow only the rare few become your very best of pals. so how do best friend actually come together?

your best buddy, partner in crime, right arm... you know that special someone who has always been there to share your best moments or support you when you were down. so what actually make a best friend a best friend? haha. its simple : a best friend actually understands you and gets you in a way no once else can. maybe you become best friends when you were in Primary One when a teacher forced both of you to sit together for fighting over the last red crayon. or maybe your best friend starteds of as a stanger who lent you a pen when you forget to bring your pencil case to the exam hall or you two had been sch bus partner since primary 4! no matter how it happened, or how long you know each other, you can always depend on him or her fer laughs when youre in good mood, or for comforting words on days when it feels like the world is mocking you. your best friend is someone you can laugh with. and sometimes, its fun to to have a giggle over the insignificant things in life. say, the guy opp you in the train didnt zip his pants. haha

it's having your best friend by your side to savour the humour in these small incidents or to share dumb inside jokes that create strong bonds and makes hanging out with each other such a BLAST! somehow, you can be in the coolest place in the world but if youre alone, it would'nt be cool anymore. and when you have goo news? nothing makes the discovery of that 85 on your amaths paper sweeter than having someone to share with or even to daydream with your bestfriends about the ONE and imagine all those what IFs stuff.

and of course, life isnt always peaches, HUNNEY, vanilla icecream and other sweet delight for that matter.when things turn sour and tough time make life seem impossible to 'go' through, you always know that you can turn to your bestfriend. wheather you are mourning the loss of a pet!(stupid) or mending yourself after a ungly break up its a wonderful feeling to know that you have someone by your side providing the comfort you oh so desperately need? something like that. someone who can listen, let you cry? haha. give you a hug and find a way to make things better. eventually everything would be OKAY.

oh well. at the end of the day a good friendship is more than just having a good friend. well, i guess friendship is having someone to depend on when you need to at the same time being independent enough not to rely on him or her fer happiness. its about looking at their interest and of cos being considerate to their feelings. haha.

and most importantly a good friendship is impossible without that extra mystery ingriedient, that chemistry, which just makes you click and know that although friendships requires work to stay strong, the best friendship are just meant to be!

my people my home - a must read entry

dear friends,

Sometimes, i wonder what people spend their whole life for. A few months ago, i touched down
in chiang rai for a project. a project that would benefit those kids there. these kids are either parrentless or they do have a parrent but their parrent end up in jail so heres a home where their child stays. a home that unite them with strangers, a home that serve their education needs, a home that could shower the LOVE they are missing and most importantly a home where they could chase their dreams; their half shattered childhood dreams. i was talking to this 16 year old boy and he told me one day he'll be a thai boxer. a famous one indeed. they dream BIG and dey work real hard. unlike people like us here.

this trip was an eye opener and it definately had change they way of our life. eating every bit of rice and finishing evrything served on the plate had suddenly become a way of my life. whenever a friend didnt finished their food i will be the zakii who goes with the famous quote ' ppl in thailand have no food'. and so far it helps. sometime dey will play around with this quotes. but how long can the effect of trips, camps, stays like this last? a few days? months? years? i dont think so.

when i was young, all i wanted to be was a smartly dressed pilot in his uniforms flying evry inch of the globe. on my 14th birthday, i wished for so many thinngs like .... haha. but not all come true.

since then, i THINK i've been looking for something or someone whom i dont know. is it a feeling, a person or an achievement? it does not make sense, but when youre standing at the middle of the pavement outside a shopping mall and even though you got places to go and people to meet, all you want to do is just seat down in the bench outside paragon where the ice cream man is, and watch the world go by. the people and their thing. and thats when you know you're looking. and its pretty scary when you've got no idea of what youre looking for. and you start to doubt its existance and what IF you never find it? or maybe you had it but lose it somehow, and you dont know what it is. i've lost so many things in my life but which one?

i've been taught to live my life the way most people do. study, get a job, get married, have kids and all that jazz. somehow, it feels save going down this route, but it makes me wonder if people really want to do that. or do they go through this routine of life because they think they S.H.O.U.L.D ? i should get married eventually, i should have some kids cause a family wont be complete without one. what is a family without kids? romance. s.h.o.u.l.d is a bad 6 letter word. really.

MUST I DO THIS STUPID THING?

okay ppl. i decided to write this supid post because i've been tagged by edwina.its a very stupid thing where ppl whom had been tagged need to write 5 weird details about them? see! how stupid.but i decided to write about it CAUSE its not like veryday you see zaki blog about stupid stuff right? haha. so this is a BONUS people.

theres so manny weird fact about me but you only want to know 5? haha. fine. five then. no more bargain.

1. i like water and i always take a shower when i'm bored. haha. i'm not writting this to boast that i'm a clean person infact i'm the other way round but itss TRUE. fer the record, i've showered 6 time in a day before. crazy? sg very hot you see.
2. i think the best thing that could appear in a fridge is MILK. especially BROWNIES milk. as in the brand BROWNIES or something like that? milk is delicious
   
3. okay.( this is funny but dun laugh at me cause this was a thing of the past.) i used to have a thing for girls in braces. hahahahahahahahhahaahha. okayy.
   
4. hp are useless nowadays that i dont really used them nowadays. infact i cant remember my own number. serioussssss
5. i believe in this thing call serendipity! stupid you might think but heyy thats something you wuould like to try. if ppl are meant to be they will. true?

okay. daphne loves derby. what a wonderful band with nice songs. lovey dovey songs. haha. i'm definately in love with them. and if you actually browse the pictures below, you'll realize that theres so manyy pictures of kenny CHOI. haha.why? hes soo hot. i'm not gay but i really like him. this boyish looking fella voice is evenn hotter. but girls, too bad he's attached with this asian looking gf. haha. so much about kenny.

THEY said : they are nice guys who play good music. which is true. they are buch of young clean guys. unlike other band, they are known as clean because they are tatooless? haha. something like dat.their vocalist and guitarist is kenny, back up vocalist and bassist is jason call while stu clay is their drummer. i wouldnt say they are skillfull but what make them interesting is their SONGS. nice lyrics and nicely sang. haha.

they actually called themselves the monikers but chnage to DLD when they found out that there is already a band with that name. i would say that their songs are mostly indie rock. currently there are not oh-so popular but THEY WILL BE. its just a matter of time cause they are very young and schooling.

while many band focus on the extremes like being happy or being SO DEPRESSED, daphne loves derby is different, their songs are all in different mood i would say? cause they believe LIFE is like a rollercoaster and they want their fans to enjoy both sides. hhahhaha! okay theyy lyrics are REAL nice . if any of you, the music fan have not listen to them, better check them out. go download their songs. and wait for their album to release here in sg.
